Superintendent's Message
Dear Parents and Students,
One half of the 2023-24 school year has flown by! Our Comets are in the routine of school and growing as learners and leaders. Our small school setting is a great place for students to be involved with many different school activities. It is in these extra curricular activities that our Comets really shine. An article I read recently outlined the benefits of being a well-rounded, involved student:
-
Challenges students to go beyond the comfort zones
-
Helps prepare students for the next academic step
-
Helps students develop confidence
-
Promotes new experiences that allow students to find their passions
The lessons learned outside of the classroom strengthen student learning in the classroom. Caston is a special community of learners who offers students opportunities to explore in order to find their lifelong passions.
If you have any questions about your student please call 574-598-8000 so that we can connect you to your child's school. I look forward to seeing you all on campus at an event very soon! #cometpride
Caston is big enough to do great things, and small enough to care!
Go Comets!
Mrs. Angela Miller, Superintendent
