Key Club is raffling a basket with many valuable prizes including $100 and gift cards. Today is the last day to buy these tickets at school. They are 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. Talk to Mrs. Shultz or any Key Club member to buy them.
All students and teachers participating in the FFA trading game need to complete all trades by the end of the day and turn in written records of trades to Mrs. Butcher’s room. Trade values will be calculated over the weekend and prizes awarded Monday. You may keep any items you earned from trading this week.
In the Pennies for Patients competition - the JH girls are in the lead with $208.32, and Mr. Freeman is in the lead for the HS teachers ! We have collected $587.05 so far. Today is the last day to donate! Don’t forget find a box and donate today!

If you would be interested in riding a fan bus to the sectional basketball game next Tuesday, there is a sign up sheet in the high school office. We need to know if you can go by Monday. We can only schedule a bus if we know how many people will ride. The cost is only $1.

The HS Student Council is sponsoring a "Movie Night" for High School students (Caston students only – no guests please) tonight from 6:00 - 10:00 pm in the cafeteria. The event is free. Concessions will be available for purchase. Bring pillows, chairs, blankets, etc. to be comfortable. The feature films are "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Big Hero 6". Come and enjoy an evening with your friends!
The Fairy Godmother Project is hosting its annual prom dress give-away on March 8th in Peru. They have over 300 dresses this year, sizes ranging from 0 - 24. This year they will be making corsages and have hair and make-up demos. For more details please check out a flyer posted in the halls or pick one up from the office.

Coach Burrus is awaiting students to sign up for the Indiana All Star Driving School online, drives will begin March 2nd! The driver's education program is available to all students 15-years or older and you must have a permit to sign up! Online classes will start immediately, for more information pick up a flyer or talk to Coach Burrus!

This year the National Honor Society will be holding an aluminum tab drive--this includes pop tabs as well as soup can pull tabs. All profits will go to the Ronald McDonald House. Please turn in tabs to your 7th hour class; there will be prizes awarded at the end of each nine weeks for top-collecting classes. This collection will last all year, so bring in your tabs whenever you can! Your 7th hour teacher has more info about the collection competition if you have questions!

The Purdue Women in Engineering Program would like to invite Junior girls to a FREE daylong engineering program called Juniors Exploring Engineering at Purdue (JEEP). The event will be held on Monday, April 13th. For more information and registration info please see guidance.
IUK will host a “Visit In Person” Day on Tuesday, April 28th. If interested in attending stop by guidance for information on registering.
Juniors: On July 15th – 17th the Indianapolis Division of the FBI will host the FBI Youth Leadership Academy (YLA). The YLA is designed to promote an educational experience that will provide students with valuable leadership training and a greater understanding of the FBI. The Academy is a three day, two night residential event hosted at Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s learning center in Mooresville, IN. Students must arrange their own transportation. However, there is no cost for students to participate and all lodging and meals are included. For more information and application information please stop by guidance. The deadline for applications is April 1st.

If you are interested in Logansport girl’s softball for Pixie & Jr. Miss Summer Leagues, stop by the office for info on how to register. The next registration date is this Sunday, March 1st, at the Church of the Brethren from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. You will need your birth certificate (for new players), $50, and insurance information.
