Today is Red, White, and Blue Day for Sectionals and Cross Country Semi State!

Picture retakes will be on November 6th.  Order forms are available in the HS office.

The cafeteria will be serving biscuits and gravy next Wednesday morning.


All JH students selling butterbraids:  Your orders & money are due to Miss Stevens on Monday!


The Key Club is sponsoring a Kemps Card Game Tournament on November 15th in the Caston cafeteria at 2:00 pm.  Each team consists of 2 people.  You may register your team for $5 at the HS office or by calling Deb Sailors at 574-857-3505, ext 315 or email at  The last day to register is November 7th.  The winning team will receive all proceeds from the event donated to the charity of their choice!  All spectators for the event receive free admission with a donation of a canned food item!


There will be an FCCLA meeting today during lunch. Lunch will be provided, but you may want to bring a drink. 


There will be an Athletic Booster Club supper at Mike’s Pizza @ Nyona Lake, this Monday, October 27th,  from 4:30 – 7:00 pm.  Your choice of country style ribs or chicken & noodles, mashed potatoes, vegetable, bread and drink included!  All athletes will be selling tickets!  Adults $11 and kids 12 and under $7.


Rising Stars dance team tryouts will be tomorrow morning from 9-11 am. Anyone in grades 7-12 interested should pick up a flyer for more info at the office.


The Caston Key Club is hosting a ZOMBIE PROM tomorrow evening in the cafeteria from 7:00–10:00 pm for students in grades 9-12.  Costumes are not required. Prizes will be given for best zombie, best non-zombie, and best couple.  All costumes must be school appropriate.   Cost is $3 per person or $2 with a canned good donation.  Also, at the dance, glow necklaces will be available for purchase for $1

The Indiana Wesleyan Chorus will be performing at the McHale Performing Arts Center on Sunday, November 9th at 6:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 and are available at McHale box office and the Logansport Church of the Brethren.

The Twelve Mile Fire Department is hosting a Ham & Bean and Chili supper fundraiser on November 1st from 4:30 – 7:30 pm.  Dessert is included.  Freewill donations will be accepted. 

The 2nd annual Dodgeball tournament for the big Brothers Big Sisters of Cass County will be held on November 8th.  There will be middle school, high school, and adult divisions.  For more info stop by the office.


The Journalism staff needs pictures for the yearbook.  Please upload pictures of your vacations, time spent with friends, or time at the fairs to REPLAY IT.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Shultz.


This year the National Honor Society will be holding an aluminum tab drive--this includes pop tabs as well as soup can pull tabs.  All profits will go to the Ronald McDonald House. Please turn in tabs to your 7th hour class; there will be prizes awarded at the end of each nine weeks for top-collecting classes. This collection will last all year, so bring in your tabs whenever you can! Your 7th hour teacher has more info about the collection competition if you have questions!


The Indiana University School of Dentistry is hosting a Dental Day on Saturday, November 8th.  For more information on times and registering, please see guidance.


Any sophomore student interested in attending the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation (HOBY) leadership seminar this summer can get more information in Guidance.  The deadline is December 5th.

Grace College invites high school students to learn more about next year's 9% tuition reduction and free textbooks for all students at Grace College during a fall campus visit day on November 14th. Go to to register today!
