School Smiles, a school based dental program, will be visiting Caston in September. Their services are available to all students and staff insured and uninsured! The treatments are provided at school and includes exams, cleanings, x-rays, sealants, fillings, and other services as needed. If you haven’t been to the dentist lately because of time constraints or you do not have a family dentist this program may be for you! For more information, stop by the office.
The American Red Cross is hosting a Blood Drive today at the TwelveMileCommunityBuilding from 2:30-7:00. They take walk-ins!
Sports pictures will be TODAY after school. Please don’t forget your uniforms. Extra order forms are available in the high school office.
Homecoming T-shirt order forms are available in the guidance office and high school office. Forms are due back with money to the guidance office by next Tuesday, September 2nd.
A fall driver’s education class will be offered at Logansport High School beginning in September. For more information stop by the high school office.
Journalism staff has A VERY SMALL NUMBER of extra yearbooks for sale. The first people to give Mrs. Shultz $60 may purchase these yearbooks.
Any student that purchased last year’s yearbook and did not pick it up at lunchtime should stop by the high school office to pick it up.
There will be a High School Art Club informational meeting in the Art room this afternoon directly after school until 4:00 pm.
There will be a SADD (students against destructive decisions) call out meeting Tomorrow at lunch in Mrs. Correll's room.
There will be a Caston Christian Club “CCC” (formerly Fellowship of Christian Athletes) call out meeting during lunch on Friday for JH and HS students. Anyone interested in learning more should attend. The junior high will meet in the Art room. The High School will meet in Ms. Miller’s room. Get your lunch quickly and go straight to the room. If you have questions please see Mrs. Woodhouse.
National Honor Society members: Please remember to turn in your dues to Ms. Miller as soon as possible.
If you have a talent you would like to share, the Caston Concert Choir is sponsoring a “Caston’s Got Talent” show on September 22nd at 7:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded. Entry forms and further information is available in the music room or in the HS and Elem offices.
Senior girls: If you are interested in engineering, Purdue University Women in Engineering Program is sponsoring a free daylong event called Seniors Exploring Engineering at Purdue, Monday, October 20th from 8 to 4:30. Registration deadline is Oct. 12th. If you would like more info stop by guidance.

The Cass County Community Foundation is hosting a Football Food Drive at Caston this Friday, August 29th, at the Varsity Football game. Bring food for your local food pantry and take home a rally towel!
