There will be Spanish tables for Spanish 1 students next Tuesday. Take your lunch to Ms. Miller's room for Spanish conversation and earn some extra credit!

 

All students going on the leadership field trip on February 6th with Mrs. Shultz need to have their permission slips turned in today or you will be removed from the list!

 

The Jr High Academic Team will meet in Mrs. Rondot's during lunch today.  You will be discussing practice times and T-shirts.  Please bring $3 for pizza.  Drinks will be provided.  Last year the Jr High Team won 1st place in their division and they would like to do it again this year!  So, if you forgot to sign up for the JH team and would still like to join, it is not too late!  See Mrs. Rondot to sign up or if you have questions.

The Fulton County Youth Leadership Academy is hosting a Dodgeball tournament on February 7th at 6:00 PM in the elementary gym to raise money for the program.  Teams should consist of 6 people with an entry fee of $30. If you are interested in signing up a team please email or see Emily Strain. 

Coach Burrus is awaiting students to sign up for the Indiana All Star Driving School online, drives will begin March 2nd!  The driver's education program is available to all students 15-years or older and you must have a permit to sign up!  Online classes will start immediately, for more information pick up a flyer or talk to Coach Burrus!

The journalism staff would love to put pictures of students taken over Christmas break into the yearbook!  Upload your pictures to RePlayit so you can be in the yearbook!

If anyone is interested in guitar lessons given locally – you can contact Pat Burns @ 574-727-1414.

This year the National Honor Society will be holding an aluminum tab drive--this includes pop tabs as well as soup can pull tabs.  All profits will go to the Ronald McDonald House. Please turn in tabs to your 7th hour class; there will be prizes awarded at the end of each nine weeks for top-collecting classes. This collection will last all year, so bring in your tabs whenever you can! Your 7th hour teacher has more info about the collection competition if you have questions!

College Representatives Scheduled to visit: 

Juniors and Seniors interested should sign up for these visits in the guidance office no later then the day before the visit.

 

Ancilla College on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 10:30

Indiana Unversity/Kokomo  -  Feb. 12th @ 9:30

University of Northwestern Ohio  -  Feb. 18th @ 11:30

 

Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine is once again sponsoring the Boiler Vet Camp in June.  They have 2 different camps.  If you would like information on this stop by the guidance office.  The application deadline is Monday, February 2.

 

 

SPORTS RESULTS/PRACTICES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Good luck tonight to: 9th/C team & JV/V Boys Basketball teams @ Pioneer.  The first game begins at 4:30 pm.

 

Good luck tomorrow morning to the Wrestling team at Sectionals at Plymouth at 9:00 am and to the JH Boys Basketball teams at a Pioneer Tournament also 9:00 am.  Good luck tomorrow evening to the Girls Varsity BB only who will be at home versus Pioneer at 6:00.  It will be Senior night at 5:30

 

There will be a Final Softball Callout meeting Monday, February 2nd, at the beginning of High School lunch, in the Cafeteria break room.  Any questions contact Coach Marrs.

 

JH wrestling practice begins Monday from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.

 

 

If there are any 8th or 9th grade girls interested in playing Club soccer this spring, please see Mrs. Doan in the guidance office. 

 

Boys ages 13-15 who are interested in playing Babe Ruth baseball need to see Coach Stuber or Coach Mollenkopf for a parent meeting flyer today.

 

Any girls interested in Logansport’s Pixie and Jr. Miss Summer softball leagues should stop by the office for more information. 

 

The JH 8th grade Lady Comets lost to Pioneer 16 to 30 Ally Wiese led the comets with 16 points.
