No food is allowed in the library, including lunchtime. You may visit the library during lunch but you should eat your lunch first.
Junior High FCA will have a meeting to get organized next Wednesday, the 11th, during lunch in Ms. Runkle’s classroom. Bring your trays and your good ideas.
Drama Club will meet during lunch today in Mrs. Sarver’s classroom. You will be looking through the script!
We are taking donations of gently used toys for children in need. You can take them to the high school office during school hours from now until December 20th. All donations will go to children under the care of the Child Protective Services as part of care packages provided from a group of us students in the Area Health Education Center group. We are very passionate about our project and hope that our community can come together in order to help these children who, otherwise, do not have strong support systems. All donations will be greatly appreciated!
Do you want to get rid of your old stuffed animals? The Caston Key Club is collecting stuffed animals for children in need. These items should be in mint condition. The drive will last until next Thursday, December 12th. Please drop them off either in Mrs. Shultz's room or in the high school office.
The High School student council is collecting pajamas and socks for the Pajama Project! Bring in your gently used pajamas. If you want to donate socks they must be new and still in the package. You can turn in your items at the office.
A Community Breakfast will be held tomorrow, December 7th at the TwelveMileCommunityBuilding from 7:00 to 10:00 am. Proceeds will benefit Indiana & Illinois tornado relief. The event is sponsored by Corinth Brethren Church.
Herff Jones will be here during lunch on December 13th. Rings will be delivered and seniors that have not ordered a cap and gown will be able to do so. Any questions, stop by the office.
The AmericanDrivingAcademy is offering a new set of driver’s ed classes at the LogansportHigh School beginning in January. Stop by the office for more information.
The library is selling withdrawn books for 25 cents. See Mrs. Helt if you have questions.
The Juniors have extra “Bags for Bucks” to sell. If you would like some please see Mrs. Doan or ask any junior. The cost is $13 per roll and they come in 4 different sizes.

The Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine will be sponsoring the Boiler Vet Camp next summer. There will be a Junior Camp for students entering 8th & 9th grades next fall and a Senior Camp for students entering the 10th, 11th, & 12th grades next fall. If you would like more information stop by the guidance office. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2014.
Congratulations to the boys Freshman C basketball team for beating Knox last night by 2 points!
Good luck to the boy’s junior varsity and varsity basketball teams tonight at the county tournament at the berry bowl. Games begin at 6:30 pm.
Also, good luck tomorrow to the varsity girl basketball team in the county tournament at 6:30 and the varsity wrestling team at a Winamac Invitational at 9:00 am.
